Flots 'til Death.

It occurred to me after posting an amazing song, a couple posts down that, I couldn't leave my page like that.
If anybody ever reads this website, and actually pays any attention to any part of it,

THIS IS THE PART THAT YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO:

Flotsam and Jetsam. They're an unstoppable force in metal music and they're still going strong, after forming in the early 1980s. Their legacy is undeniable and it is my claim that they are the best, long-standing band in metal music. <-- (that was a period at the end of the sentence.)

Listen to this song, 3 or 4 times in a row, with headphones.  You WILL understand.

I'm a freakin' Legend, man.

In the world of the old west, as imagined by the game developer, Rockstar Games, there is a place where legends are born.

Gang hide-outs are ambushed and defended, lives are lost, treasure is looted and prostitutes are hogtied.  Wait, what? Prostitutes are hogtied?

Yes, that world is Circa 1910, in the American southwest and northern Mexico, and you can do almost anything that you can think up (within the narrow scope of the game).

If you're good enough, you can become a Legend.  If you're 5 times better than that, you can become the top-tier Legend, a Federal Agent, like me.

Do you have what it takes?  Are you Legend material?

The Atomic Punk!

For a music fan, like myself, those three words can only mean one thing...
Van Halen. The REAL Van Halen, I should say and, rightly so. This is the unquantifiable awesomeness that I speak of.

That is the theme song for my newly-created crew, the Atomic Punks. I'm adding to the long-standing definition of those words, bringing them into the 21st century with ties to a digital multiplayer realm.

To my knowledge, we're the only crew with a theme song.
Come join the crew. Be a part of something with old-school soul-fire and ferocious unpredictability.

Funny, that...

Recently, I've come to learn all about Rockstar Games' Social Club and how the crews forming inside will feature in the new era of Rockstar games. And I think they sound awesome! (i said that all in one breath.)

The whole premise of crews in these games, such as Grand Theft Auto V, Max Payne 3, the next installment of the Red Dead series, etc., reminds me of an awesome movie about street gangs, called The Warriors.  If you've never seen this movie, find a way to watch it! It rocks!
Released in 1979, it was a much different era of movie-making and, the whole film has an ambiance and feel that today's films are missing. Something akin to the Blade Runner, Terminator, Videodrome-type of genre.

Rockstar Games is speaking a whole, new language and, the dialect is very spicy, indeed.

After learning of the  in-game crews, I went looking for one to join.
It is simply amazing, just how many people out there are trying to start their own crew. I wore out my browser, trying to scroll through it all -- had to download a new one. Seriously!

Finally, I saw something that horrified me. HOMICIDE PEEPSHOW
Omg, are you serious?  I thought it was a bit too much for me.  A day later and, I'm asking to join the crew.

They let me in.  Unfortunately, the union was to be short-lived.  I had something of my own, brewing. I started my own crew!
I left the Peepshow, joined The subGeniuses and created...

ATOMIC PUNKS

now, if I could just get someone to join...
